The nights are drawing in and the temperature is dropping. That can mean only one thing – winter is getting closer and closer by the day. To help keep that cold weather at bay when you have to venture beyond your front door, you need a great winter jacket. If you are not sure which to choose, don’t worry as we are going to discuss and highlight the many options open to you in the following post.

Faux Fur Coats

We felt it was best to start with one type of winter jacket that is definitely going to keep you warm while providing just the right measure of glam and style – the reliable and classy faux-fur coat.

Although in the past it was Sherpa-style coats that were everyone’s go-to when they wanted to rock that imitation animal fur look, there is now a multitude of options you can choose from within this one category of winter coats. From shackets to long, tailored affairs, to bomber styles, there are faux fur jackets out there that will help you retain your individuality and sexiness, even in the cold of winter.

Edgy Jackets

When we talk about edgy jackets, we mean biker, aviator, and moto-style jackets. If you are not the most girly girl in town, you may find one of these edgier options more appealing and better for maintaining your tougher and more uncompromising style. When looking at moto jackets, think carefully about the length and find a flattering one. It’s also harder to layer underneath if you get one that is way too short. You also need to be careful to avoid any that are going to hit you on your widest parts.

Parkas

Parkas, often referred to as Eskimo coats, are those kinds that you will find in many high street stores where there is fur around the collar and has either fur in the actual jacket or a kind of Sherpa-like material. These are incredibly warm, particularly if you find one that is double-layered and if you find one with a cinched waist, you can create a more attractive body shape.

Although you will find parkas come in different lengths, it is a good idea to aim for one that comes down lower than your bottom and hips to help keep in the warmth. Shorter parkas may look great, but are not the best when you are trying to fight the cold temperatures, while anything longer than mid-thigh is too long unless you really like that look.

Puffer Jackets

You will find that some puffer jackets are incredibly dramatic, while others are simplistic in their design and look. If you do intend on going for the big marshmallow look, it may be a good idea to make the rest of your outfit simpler. Again, these kinds of jackets come in a variety of lengths. Short ones can be very trendy. Ideally look for a jacket that gives you a waistline, though, or it will feel and look like you are drowning in all of that puffiness.

As a clothing wholesaler with a comprehensive collection, you will find lots of the jacket styles highlighted above available. When you buy more than one, you will be able to take advantage of some great savings.
